Jesus only

7And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

All you need is Jesus. Jesus is not a part of the solution. He is THE solution.
Jesus is not a way. He is THE way.
Jesus didn’t just teach about truth. He is the truth.
Jesus is not just a part of the Godhead. He is the Godhead. The question is this: Is Jesus in the Godhead, or the Godhead in Jesus.
Col 2: 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
He is the Alpha, and the Omega. The Beginning and the Ending. The one that was, that is and that is to come.
Some uses the expression, Jesus only to claim that Oneness people don’t belive in the Father or the Holy Ghost. They are missing the point. Jesus is more than a Son. He is more than 1/3 of God. Its like the old prpophesy: Unto us a child is born, and a SON been given. And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, and the Prince of peace.
The son should be called everlasting father.

One funny little fact. The word trinity is not in the bible. Jesus only is J

Fulfilling Jesus prayer in John 17

Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I have heard this verse referred to so many times. Let us fulfill the prayer request of Jesus. Let be One. Let us get together and forget about our differences. Don’t worry about our doctrinal differences. Most important is that we love Jesus.
But is it really that what Jesus are saying?
Jesus said: that they may be one even as we are one. The question then is this: How was Jesus and the Father one? By compromise? No, Jesus and the Father was one, because Jesus as a man, had completely surrendered his will to the Father. He said, not my will be done, but yours be done. He said that the words I speak is not my own, but the Fathers word. He said I only do what I see the Father do. I am completely ONE with the Father.
If we shall be one like that, it starts by submitting our will to HIM. It starts by crucifying the flesh. It starts by making sure HIS WORDS are our words. That is the opposite of compromising it.
When we do that we become one. Then we can say we are in ONE accord.

Getting together and not be in one accord is only making noise. Its like hitting all the strings of a guitar without making an accord. Its only noise. But when we are tunes in together in harmony as the Master decides, we make beautiful sound.

Drawing near to God

Gen 13:12Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

Gen 18:23And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

Lot pithed his tents toward Sodom, while Abraham drew near unto God. Two men, leading their families in two oppostite directions. It says TOWARDS Sodom. Where is your attention today? Is it towards God? Is it towards Heaven? Or is it towards worldly things.
Prior to Lot pitching his tents towards Sodom, he had lifted up his eyes, and what he saw was Sodom. In the New Testament, there is a similar expression. When Peter, James and John was on the mountain of transfiguration with Jesus. The Bible says when they lifted up their eyes, the could see no one save Jesus only.
What do you see, when you lift up your eyes? Are your attention and focus on the world, or on Heaven. Where have you settled down with your family? Close to God, or close to Sodom. If you feel God is far away, maybe its because you have settled down in a wrong place.

I want to choose like Abraham. I want to do like Peter James and John. Peter desired to build a house right there on the mountain. I second that!!!! I want to settle down as close to God as I possible can
