God never gives up on you

Matt 12:20A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

When other people sees a bruised reed they see no hope there. Never will a bruised reed be fixed. Never will a smoking flax starts burning again. Still, God will not quench it. Still God will not brake it. Why? Because before God gives us up, there shall be no other way. No hope what soever. From Gods side we can truly say, he never gives us up. We are the one turning away from him. The Bible is full of stories telling us about Gods patience and long-suffering. One of them is the story of the flood. 1 Pet 3:20 says: Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing......

God was waiting with the judgement, while Noa was building the Ark. Waiting, hoping people would repent. Because as 2 Pet 3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

So know today, God never gives up on you. He hope you will find a way to repent and turn to him. His waiting for you as the Father was waiting for the prodigal son.
