Dan
11:32And
such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but
the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Hos
4:1Hear
the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy
with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor
knowledge of God in the land.
There
are promises to those who know their God. They shall be strong, and they shall
do exploits. But where there is no knowledge of God, there is a controversy
with the Lord. Paul said to God when he was struck down from his horse on the
way to Damascus: Who are you Lord? The answer came back: I am Jesus, the one
you are persecuting. ....
When you don’t know your God, you can end up persecuting
him. You can end up crucifying him. You can end up working against him.
When you are working against the truth, you are working against Jesus, since he IS the truth. Be careful, like the the wise man Gamaliel said: Acts 5:39But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

Pray that God will reveal himself to you. Seek a personal relationship with him, and he will make sure you don't work against the God you desire to serve.
