Luk
19:30Saying,
Go
ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall
find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
31 And if any man ask you,
Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of
him.
You
would think that Jesus would have chosen something more dignified to ride into
Jerusalem on, as the King of King he was. But he chose this little donkey that
no one had sat on before. I am sure this donkey felt worthless and useless. But
this day, the Lord had need for him.
You
may feel like this donkey. But be ready. One of these days, the Lord have need
for you, and will use you. Don’t compare yourself with the white stallions or
beautiful horses. You are chosen of the Lord. He needs you as you are.
The
greatest ting with this story is that it was the disciples that had to loose
him. We need to loose one another for the service of the King. Say some
encouraging words. Believe in one another. Ask the Lord to show you a “donkey”
you can loose.
