2 King 7:2Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and
said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing
be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt
not eat thereof.
This was the prophets response after
this lord doubted Gods promises of plenty of food coming to Samaria during the famine. It so happened, that the next day when they got the good news from the
camp of the Syrians, everyone stormed out through the gate, and this lord was
tramped to death.
I feel the same about skeptics of revival. Their doubt cannot stop the promise. It will happen. The only thing they can do is to place themselves outside of it. Revival will come, with or without them. For God promised, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. How and when I don’t know. But I believe it. Just at it happen on the day of Pentecost. SUDDENLY...... It will come suddenly. Thats what was hard for this lord to understand. How could this happen from one day to another? Suddenly. For men this is impossible but for God anything is possible
