Luk 21:28 ”And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh”
The signs and evidences is all around us. We are living in the endtime. We see the enemy at work everywhere. The battle is intensified, and the negative reports are trying to overshadow what God is doing. In the middle of all of this, Jesus gives us an advice. Lift up your heads. Lift them up from the problems, and challenges. Lift them up away from all the negative reports. Set your focus on the Heavenly. The reason why Peter sank when he walked on hte Water was his focus on the storm and on the waves. As soon as he looked up and focused on Jesus he was able to walk on top of the waves that almost sank him.
HEB 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Let us do like Jesus. He endured the cross, and despised the shame because he focused on the JOY that was sat before him. Likewise we must LOOK unto Jesus while we lay aside every weight. Focus on heaven. Don’t allow the enemies trick you into focusing on the storm. The storm is only a sign for us to lift our heads and start anticipating HEAVEN on earth
