Cor 4:18While
we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:
for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen
are eternal.
How
can you “look” at things that are not seen? It takes another set of eyes. The
eyes of faith. The Bible teaches us that faith is the substance of things hoped
for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen….
If everyone in the world was blind, how would you tell them, or convince them that there is something called colors? How would you explain the rainbow? If everyone in the world were deaf, how would you explain sound? Or music? If no one had the ability to take in the sound, does it mean it doesn’t exist? I no one had the ability to see, does that mean colors don’t exist?
Faith is the instrument that can take in the invisible world. That is just as real as the visible. We that have FAITH, are LOOKING at the things no one else can see. And the things we see are eternal, while the things this world sees are temporal.
