The thing that makes Jesus CRY

John 11:35 Jesus wept.

Have you ever caused someone to cry? Hurted them so bad they started to cry? If you have you know that is not a good feeling. Here Jesus is crying. Lazarus is dead. They show him the grave, and complains that he wasn’t there. IF you had been here…. They had faith for the past. And when Jesus tried to tell them Lazarus would live, they said, Yes we know in the resurrection some day…. They had faith for the future. Then Jesus sais, I AM the resurrection and the life. Not WAS. Not goint to be. I AM.

Jesus cried, not because Lazarus was dead. He knew he would resurrect him. He already told them. No, he cries for there unbelief. He said: Didn’t I tell you IF you believe you will see the glory of God?
Heb 11.6 says it is impossible to please God without faith. So when we believe, we are pleasing him. The same Bible encourages us to NOT grieve the Holy Spirit. How do we grieve the Holy Spirit? By doing the opposite of what pleases him. Doubt.

Have you grieved Jesus. Have you made him cry? Believe on me he says, and you will be like a well of living water.
