ME FIRST

2 Tim 2:6The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

Have you ever flown with an airplane. Then you have probably heard the security procedure. If drop of oxygen masks, make sure to put on yourself BEFORE you help others. This is because if you don’t get oxygen, you will not be able to help anyone, and both may die. The principle is, if you want to help others, make sure you have got help first.

Here Paul lets us know this heavenly principle. Before you preach about Joy, do you have Joy yourself? Before you offer anyone the gift of the Holy Ghost, do you have it yourself? Jesus told his followers to go to the upper room and wait. The mission is great, but first you need to enjoy the fruit. First you need to receive the power.

Too many people experience to be “burnt out”. They meet the famous “wall”. This is because they have forgot to enjoy the fruit themselves. They forgot to make sure their own oxygen mask was in place before helping others.

In the spiritual world it’s ok to say ME first!!! Jesus honors those who take it by force. Don’t be polite and say: You can go first. No. Me first!!!
