Do I HAVE to?

Mark 10:17And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

This rich young man came to Jesus with a question so many people today ask themselves. What do I HAVE to do to be saved? Jesus gave him the “I HAVE to list”, but then presented him to the “I want to” list. It was soon evident he was only interested in the have to, and not the want to. 

I am so tired of all the debates among Christians based on the question; do I HAVE to?

Do I HAVE to go to church?
Do I HAVE to pay tithe?
Do I HAVE to be baptized?
MUST it be in the name of Jesus ?
Do I HAVE to receive the Holy Ghost?
Do I HAVE to pray every day?
Do I HAVE to be holy?

In the first church they didn't do things because they HAD to. They did it because they WANTED to. If you don't want to be baptized, if you don't want the Holy Ghost, if you don't want to give, and if you don't want to live holy etc etc. The question remains: Do you really WANT to go to heaven. Because the truth is: You don't really HAVE to
