UNITY

Psalm 133:1Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It doesn’t only says dwell together. It says dwell together in unity. A lot of people are together. In school, at work, in sports etc. That doesnt mean unity.

• ·      Common interest brings people together
• ·      Entertainment brings people together
• ·      Common enemies brings people together

But the church is not a place where we just get together. Not just a place where we are at the same place. It should be a place where we are together in ONE accord, in one place.

Ap gj 2:1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Pinguins, will freeze to death if they not stay together. THey are taking shifts to stand in the middle, and stand in front to take the cold.

Birds fly together as an arrow, because that will give less air resistance. They take turnes to lead, and so letting the rest enjoy the strenght of being together.

Zebras and wallabees keep together to protect themselfs from preditors.

Ants builds HUGE and complex societies, because of unity.

Unity is NOT a fake smile. Its NOT coming to the same church or sit in the same meeting. Unity is NOT wearing the same clothes, or proffessing the same faith.

Unity is NOT compromise.

UNITY, is when we operate as ONE. ONE body. ONE faith. ONE accord. ONE mind. ONE love.
