Turning Mara into Elim

Ex 15:23And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
24And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet

After three days of walking under a burning hot sun, with hot sand under their feet, and without drinking for three days, they were at the edge of dying. Three days is the maximum of what you can go without water. Elim, the place of blessing was waiting around the corner, but in order to reach it, they needed water here at Mara. Mara means bitterness. Then the Lord showed him a tree…

This tree was an example of the tree at Calvary. The tree of Calvary, has the ability to make bitter waters sweet. If you take your bitter experiences to the cross, and allow Jesus to turn them around, you will be able to go to the next level, where the blessings is waiting for you.
But too many people miss the opportunity and blessings of Elim because they get stuck in the bitterness of Mara.
