Created unto good works

Eph 2:2  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Have you ever seen city doves walking around and eat junk on the ground. A piece of old French-fries maybe. Or have you seen seagulls flying over a garbage dump?  There is something filthy and unnatural about it. Seagulls were created to fly over the ocean, not over a garbage dump. To eat fish, and not garbage.

The same thing is true about us. When we live in sin, it is something ugly and unnatural. Why? Because we were not created to sin, but we were created unto good works.

We were created to speak the truth, and not lie. We were created to love and not to hate. We were created to be faithful, and not cheating.
