Is 40:28Hast thou not known? hast thou not
heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the
earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his
understanding.
29He giveth power to the faint; and to
them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30Even the youths shall faint and be
weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31But they that wait upon the Lord shall
renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
In this stressful time of demands it seems like people cant get things done fast enough. We have got used to just push a button, and expect things to work and be done. Microwave oven, Computers and Internet are just some of the things that has contributed to build up stress, impatience, and attitudes of demands.
In this time where EVERYTHING is getting more and more
easy and convenient, People seem to be more exhausted than ever before. Words
like burnout and fatigue Syndrome are words you almost never heard some time
back. We get tired. We get exhausted. We get fatigue.
But with God is not like the Microwave oven, or
Computer. You cannot just push a button and expect quick answers and solutions.
Few have time to wait upon the Lord, and instead take the measure in their own
hands.
Result: fatigue, exhaustion, Tiredness. No wonder the Bible describes this generation of Christians as sleeping Virgins.

BUT, they that wait upon the Lord…. They will be
changed into his image. They will be like him.
They will : …… renew their strength; they shall mount
up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint.
Take a timeout from the stress. Put your busy life on
pause. And wait on the Lord. Then you will see and experience a total new
strength.
