Don't look back

Is 43:18Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Phil 3:13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Don’t look back:

When God lead Lot and his wife out from Sodom he commanded them not to look back. When God lead Israel out of Egypt, he led them through the read sea, so there will be no return. Whenever they looked back and remembered Egypt, God got angry. The Promised Land was ahead of them.
Don’t dwell on yesterdays mistake. Don’t even dwell on yesterday’s victories. The best athletes are those who are able to not dwell too long over their achievement, but always push ahead to the next goal. Those working in technology can never stop and look back. New inventions. New science.
God told us to not look back, or try to repeat yesterday. He will do something NEW. There’s a promised land ahead of you. You can reach it if you don’t make the same mistake as Lots wife. Go for the mountain. Go for the promised land. Go towards Gods promise. And don’t look back !!!
