Gods Memory book

Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

Psalm 56:8Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

I remember when I was a kid we had a memory book that we had friends write in. Small poems and greetings from both friends and teachers was popular.
God is writing his own memory book. A book where he collects everything that happens to us. Even our tears are collected and written down in his book. Even if we forget, he will not forget. There are things we don’t even remember our selves. Things that may be too difficult to deal with, that we have pushed down and forgot. But God does not forget. He knows why we are hurting. He remembers the things that made scars in us. When other people don’t understand our behavior or emotions, God does. Because he remembers everything. And even better, he has promised he will restore every thing the enemy has stolen from us. A stolen childhood. A stolen heart. A stolen love life. Stolen joy, stolen opportunities….

Every tear he carefully collects in his bottle. Every hurtful word, and hurtful act, he writes down in his memory book. And he has promised to restore it unto us.

No one may know what you have been through. And you may even have forgot it yourself. But there is a memory book in Heaven, where God has written it all down. And that’s why he understands us like no one else does. When we feel fear, without understanding why. When we get depressed for no seemingly reason. It may be because of tings we have forgot, but God remembers. And he understands. And he loves. And he restores.
