This is THAT....

Joel 2:28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

This promise, written in the book of Joel, is repeated by Peter in the very first speech made in the church age. After receiving the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues on the day of Pentecost, Peter made this statement: This is THAT, spoken by the prophet Joel. What you see and hear, is that.
Many people claim to have the Holy Ghost. But have you received it the way the Apostles did? Can you say: This is THAT. Everyone that received the Holy Ghost in the first church received it with a sign. In Cornelius house, when they heard them speak with other tongues, they said: These have received the Holy Ghost just like us. Meaning, in the same way as we did. FOR they heard them speak in other tongues.

In Samaria, they had received the Word, they had repented and been baptized. But the Bible says they had not yet received the Holy Ghost. How could they possible know? They didn’t have the sign. They were evidently looking for the same experience they had, so they could say; this is THAT. I recognize this. It’s the same thing happen to me.
They had waited themselves for 10 days at the upper room for the promise of the father. When it finally came, they said, THIS IS THAT!!!!
Don’t be satisfied with anything else than the original experience. Wait on God, and pray for the real thing. The real thing will make you speak with other tongues. So you can also say. THIS IS THAT.
