2 King 6:17And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
His problem was not that he didn’t have any help. His problem was that he didn’t see it. He didn’t need God to send him help, he just needed a healing of sight so he could see what was already there.
Sometimes all we need in our lives is a healing of sight. Because many times what we see and perceive is not the total picture. God encourages us to look at the things that are not seen. The way God looks at things.
Sometimes when we see defeat, God sees victory. When we see ruins, he see walls. When we see desert, he see rivers. When we see a Shepard boy, God sees a King. When we see ourselves as unworthy, he sees us worthy. Sometimes we don’t need to change anything. We just need a healing of sight!!
