Tampering with evidence

Psalm 103:12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

From time to time, I enjoy watching a good documentary of some crime investigation. It is fascinating to watch the detectives and investigators trying to find evidence that will link a criminal to a crime. They can believe they are 100% sure they have found the right person, but without any evidence that can link the person to the crime, they cant convict him. So they search for physical evidence like a fingerprint or a dna proof, that will link the criminal to the crime scene.

We also have an accuser, and an investigator that are constantly working on finding evidence so he can condemn us for sins we have committed. But here in Psalm 103, the psalmist is saying that God not only have forgiven us. He has been at the crime scene, and removed any evidence against us. He has removed them FROM US. They cannot be linked to us anymore. He has replaced our fingerprints with HIS fingerprints. He has replaced our DNA with his DNA at the crime scene.
Oh what a savior….
