Dont allow offense to steal your blessing

2 King 5:9So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
10And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
11But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

Naaman was a high rank officer from Syria, that had come to seek healing. He had heard that the Prophet Elisha could help him. He came to the door of Elisha with a lot of expectations. He had it all played out in his mind how it should happen. He thought the Prophet would come out and call on the name of the Lord, striking his hand over the sick place, and recover the leper.  But the Prophet didn’t even come out himself. He only sent his servant. And then he told him to go wash in the river Jordan… Offended and humiliated, he went away in rage. Then his servants convinced him to go back and at least try what the Prophet said, and he got healed from his leprosy.
He almost lost his healing from being offended. I wonder how many have lost their healing, or lost their blessing because they got offended. Many have left church and left the will of God, because somebody offended them. Instead of swallowing their pride and go on, they have went away from the will of God in rage. Not knowing or understanding that their answer was right around the corner.
Don’t allow the enemy to offend you away from Gods will and Gods blessing. It may not happen the way you had thought, or the way you had planned.  But stay in the Church, and stay in Gods will. Your blessing is coming in a way you had not expected.
